Sue Davis grew up in Massachusetts where she attended the New England School of Photography. Always having a pet, Sue often used her family and animals as subjects of her art.

While living in Austin, TX Sue became involved with many animal rights groups and through volunteer work at the local animal shelter she became the official “Pet of the Week” photographer. She used her photographic skills to give these animals another chance at being found by happy homes. While volunteering at the shelter she also became involved in fostering groups of animals that would often turn out to be great subjects for further photography projects.

Now living in Los Angeles with her two rescued cats Leo and Peanut, she is once again combining her passions to make intimate original portraits of animals of all sizes and the people who love them.

In addition to pet photography Sue enjoys traveling. With her camera always by her side she has photographed people and places all over the United States, parts of Europe and Cuba. Her art photography has been shown in galleries in San Francisco, Boston, and Austin and several of her landscapes have been used in the HBO series, "Six Feet Under" and Kevin Spacey’s film, “The Life of David Gale”.
